Before I found this wonderful yoga, I was into running and swimming. But after the birth of my daughter in 05, I needed to exercise during the day but out of the harmful ultraviolet rays when my child is in childcare. I came across a magazine advertisement on Bikram yoga and thought that the posture was quite challenging to do. I had preconceived ideas that yoga class is going to be slow and meditative which does not suit me. But I was so wrong when I stepped into a Bikram Hot Yoga class
. Not only was it highly dynamic for the first 50mins, it was a total body workout that improves your flexibilty, cardiovascular health and helps in toning your body! It was the best exercise I have done. I receive alot of compliments on having a toned body even after childbirth. Not only was I hooked on it, I went for the Teachers’ Training after a year.
